Sustainability

We love the Earth and are grateful to it, so we are looking for the most sustainable business solutions together with our clients.

Sustainability means, above all, lower consumption. We offer our customers the choice of high-quality fabrics, made in Europe from sustainable or recycled materials and their supplements. High quality fabric guarantees that business uniforms will last much longer – instead of a few poor-quality uniforms, one good-quality one will suffice.

The durability of the product also depends on its care, so we offer our clients comprehensive management and maintenance of uniforms. When the client is confronted with frequent staff changes, we take care of uniforms worn for only a short period. Once reconditioned, we arrange to return them to the client’s place of business, so that these uniforms can be worn by new employees.

We know from experience that in Lithuania, employee clothing is usually updated every two years. During this process, we evaluate the uniforms already used, together with our clients. Some uniforms are recycled, and the rest of us are resurrected for a new life and donated to charitable organisations. Depending on the condition of the products, part of the clothing can be returned to the customer’s place of business.

We are also trying to do things in a sustainable way in our day-to-day activities. After hearing the recommendations of professionals in the circular economy, we took decisions aimed at keeping our footprint smaller:

  • We work only with partners and fabric and accessory suppliers that ensure fair working conditions;
  • We use easily recyclable materials for clothing packaging, and we try to re-use all remaining packaging materials as many times as possible;
  • We offer businesses to pack the uniform into reusable clothing bags;
  • We sort all waste responsibly;
  • We use green energy;
  • We share the burden.

Seeing the positive impact of us offering more sustainable business uniforms, we have decided to go one step further. This is how GROWNUPS sustainable leisurewear was born.

As part of YOUNIFORMER, the GROWNUPS brand shares the same values as its predecessor.

First and foremost, all products in the GROWNUPS collection are made from certified fabrics*. These include recycled ocean plastics, recycled fabrics, and fabrics made from organic raw materials.

In our search for versatile and timeless design solutions, we took inspiration for the first GROWNUPS collection from YOUNIFORMER bestsellers. That’s why the collection is based on tunics beloved by women, unisex raincoats, and zip-up jumpers, along with a few new pieces — the Dress Up to You dresses, waist bags, linen bags, and mobile phone cases.

A character created for the collection — a pixel art person holding his heart and the world in his hands — gives the collection a distinctive touch. We hope that the tiny symbol, which turns into a fabric pattern, will remind everyone who wears it of their responsibility to the world. As we enter adulthood, we share the responsibility to face all the adversities that come our way — and, above all, to do so with peace, tolerance, humanity, and love.

Finally, developing both brands, we are guided by the sustainability theory, in which not only a sustainable model of production and business administration but also the communication of these values play an important role. Every day, working with a wide range of customers and suppliers, we strive to ensure that our sustainability messages reach as many people as possible — we are convinced that this is the only way to create lasting change and to reduce the damage to the environment together.
